SOPHIE DAVID

Artist Statement

I am fascinated by stories. Dance has the unique power to tell stories with movement and can communicate emotions and experiences in a way that words cannot. In both my choreographic and performance pursuits, I am always searching for the narrative I can attach to the dance and how I can communicate it to the audience.
